internet is back

Finally got the internet back tonight. I couldn't get on at all on Monday. There is always something to do around here, so I stayed busy both days.  I do a lot of hauling crews around to the jobs because of so few rigs. But we got some secondaries repaired which had burned down in the storm last Saturday. I spent a lot of time testing and repairing transformers that were damaged in transit. Nothing big just some broken bushings and stuff that rattled loose on the rough roads over here.

The first picture is of me and Phillip, one of the local linemen, and some women who were gathering wood where the tree crew was cutting a new right of way. I have no idea what the bundles of wood weigh.The second picture is of a young girl carrying charcoal to the market. The third is one of the local butcher shop. My guess is that the temperature was around 95 degress when I took the picture. The last one is of the local thorn trees that they have around here. Most of the tree trimming is done on stuff like this.
