security problem

We had a bit of a security problem here in town today, in no way threating to me so far, but I'm playing it close to the vest and staying in the compound until I'm sure things have settled down. This is purely a local matter and has nothing to do with the north.  The last time I went thru town all had quieted down and there were far fewer people around than normal. One result of the trouble was that the flights into Kapoeta were cancelled.

Also the crews all took the afternoon off to be with their families.  Due to that, not much progress on the service connects today. We will see what the situation is in the morning. The first picture is of a herd of camels that is around here. Unlike the goats and cattle, they do not roam all over town. I have only seen them right around the coop compound. As promised the 2nd picture is of a tuk-tuk,  Sitting on it is Jacob who is the general foreman around here. The last is of some of the cattle that wander all over town.
